Arabic Studies Minor

Pre-requirement: ARB 130  and ARB 234 .

 

Students with a minor in Arabic Studies must accumulate a minimum of 18 credits at the 200- and 300-levels, with at least one course at the 300-level, and one Goucher-sponsored study-abroad program in the target language country (ICA or a semester abroad) to ensure the experiential component of Arabic Studies.

ARB 132 - Special Topics in Language and Culture (2 Cr.) 

ARB 230 - Intro to Modern Arab Culture: Dissenting Voices, Liberating Visions (4 Cr.)  

ARB 234 - Conversation and Composition (4 Cr.)  

ARB 272Y - Intensive Course Abroad (6 Cr.)

ARB 299 - Independent Work (1-4 Cr.)
