SP 440 - Social Criticism Through Written and Visual Texts (4 Cr.)(Formerly SP 340)
Students explore social issues from different historical periodsthrough the study and critical analysis of different literary works and their representation in films. Students will explore works that range from comedies that focus on love, sex and the Catholic church in the Golden Age, to dramas that unfold during the Spanish Civil War. Prerequisites: SP 322 (or SP 254 INACTIVE or SP 294 INACTIVE). Variable semesters. Moreno-López.
