FR 353 - Introduction to French/Francophone Cinema (4 Cr.)

A survey of French/Francophone cinema, this course introduces students to the history of French/Francophone film, various approaches to film and modes of film analysis. It also teaches French film terminology. Prerequisite: FR 245  or permission of instructor. Variable semesters. Martin, St. Ours.
