WL 253 - The Soul of Russia: Russian Culture and Civilization (3 Cr.) (cross listed as RUS 250 and RUS 350 and WL 353 and WL 269) (LER-TXT and LER-DIV)
In English with 1-credit Russian option. Russian traditions, folklore, conceptions of the world, and the search for national identity studied in juxtaposition with Russian history, literature, music, cuisine and dance. At the 300-level students are required to complete a research paper and a capstone project, which may be community-based. Prerequisite: none. Alternating years. Spring semester. Czeczulin.
