BIO 327 - Advanced Genetics (4 Cr.)
This course provides an understanding of the control and expression of genes at the molecular level with an emphasis on eukaryotic systems. Topics focus on genetic analyses of selected model systems, including Drosophila, S. cerevisiae, C. elegans, and human. Student participation and use of original literature are emphasized. Three hours classroom, three hours laboratory. Prerequisites: BIO 210 and BIO 220 . Fall semester. Offered 2017-18 and alternate years. Hiller.
