COM 312 - Applied Workshop in Electronic Media (3 Cr.)*title and description change after Fall 2014 from “Issues in Broadcasting & the Electronic Media”
Workshops in television, radio, and new media, emphasizing the development of skills in a particular format. The specific topic is posted before registration. Examples include: Advanced Audio Production; Broadcast News Writing; and Producing and Writing for the Internet. Prerequisites: completion of two of the 200 level required theory/criticism and history courses, departmental and college writing proficiency, junior or senior status, or permission of the instructor. Repeatable if topic is different. Fall semester, repeated spring semester. Burton, Hudson, Marcus, Raymond, Taylor, Zurawik.
