THE 239 - Writing for the Musical Stage (4 Cr.)
A comprehensive course on the collaboration between the playwright and the composer. After studying some historical collaborations that have succeeded to bring great works to the musical stage, students will be formed into writing/composing teams to develop original works for the stage. Course culminates in a simple staging of the developed pieces. Prerequisite: , , or permission of the instructor. First offered 2015. Eng.
