BIO 420 - Seminar in Neurobiology (2 Cr.)

(formerly BIO 320)

This seminar will focus on how nervous systems develop and function. Topics will include developmental neurobiology, function of the central nervous system, regeneration, and diseases of the central nervous system. Through critical analysis of primary scientific literature, students will become familiar with study systems, experimental methods used, and current knowledge in the field of neurobiology. Lectures, discussions, and student presentations. Prerequisite: BIO 220 (C- or better), and junior standing. Lenkowski.
